Becoming a Chartered Secretary
Individuals who successfully complete the IBAM Diploma in Business Practice will be able to proceed directly to the eight modules of the MAICSA Professional Programme. Alternatively, students can use the Diploma, where recognised by individual universities, for entry on to related degree programmes. Having graduated, you can then return to complete the four MAICSA Professional Programme Part 2 modules.
The Institute also has collaborative arrangements with a number of UK universities, where suitably qualified individuals can obtain a MSc or MA in Corporate Governance which satisfy the ICSA Professional Programme examination requirements.

University of Northampton, UK
Students who have been successful in achieving the IBAM Diploma in Business Practice in Malaysia are eligible to apply for a place in the University of Northampton’s Foundation Degree in Business. Following successful completion of the Foundation Degree, students will then be eligible to join the ‘top-up’ final year on the University’s BA (Hons) Business degree.
The Foundation Degree will be delivered by means of distance learning, a mode of study with which Northampton Business School has considerable expertise and experience. This process offers students both accessibility and flexibility.
Students who decide to continue with their studies to honours degree level will have the choice of going to the UK to study on a full time basis for one academic year or to continue their studies in Malaysia via distance learning.

University of Hertfordshire, UK
The IBAM Certificate and Diploma in Business practice have been accessed by the University of Hertfordshire as 180 undergraduate level credit points, 120 at level one and 60 at level two.
Students holding both the IBAM Certificate and Diploma in Business Practice may enter Semester B of level two of the University’s BA (Hons) Business Administration programme if they also hold an IELTS of 6.0 or equivalent. They will be required to complete the level two requirements (60 points) before processing to level three of the programme (120 points) to gain an Honours degree award.

University of Ulster
Candidates who have successfully completed the IBAM Certificate in Business Practice will be awarded 100/120 APCL credit points from level 1 based upon the Certificate. To complete level 1, holders of the Certificate would be required to take 20 credit points-the Business Statistics and Business Law modules. Candidates with appropriate work experience could be awarded a further 10 APEL credits for the Business Law module. This will be decided on a case by case basis
Students who have successfully completed the IBAM Diploma in Business Practice will be awarded a further 100/120 ACPL level 2 credits. To complete level 2, holders of the Diploma would be required to complete 20 credits in the subject area of Information systems and Operations Management. Further APEL credits may be available for candidates with appropriate work experience.
Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM), France
Holders of the IBAM Diploma in Business Practice will have direct entry to the third year of the four year Bachelor of Business Administration programme of the Paris Graduate School of Management (PGSM) which will be conducted at Mantissa Institute, Malaysia.
